Description: Today, St. Peter’s Academy, Ajit Nagar, Patiala organized a community kitchen (langar) at Rajindra Hospital, Patiala to help the needy. In addition, a social visit was conducted by some teachers and students of the school to Mata Khivi Ji Old Age Home and Sai Old Age Home located on Choura Road. Keeping in mind the needs of the elderly, the students and staff collected essential items, which were lovingly distributed at the old age homes. The school Principal, Father Michael Collins, shared an important message on this occasion: “Our life is a gift from our elders. At this crucial stage of their lives, we must not leave them alone. Spending time with them and respecting them is our duty. Heaven exists on Earth where elders live with dignity and love.” Through this spirit of service and social responsibility, the school community set a beautiful example of humanity.
